Trinity Learning Centre is a grades 10-12 outreach school that provides a flexible approach to educational programming that operates under the jurisdiction of Holy Spirit Catholic School Division.

What is Outreach?

The Trinity outreach program is an in-person* program that provides individual learning plans for students. Trinity outreach program provides an educational alternative for senior high school students who find that traditional school settings do not meet their needs.

Each student’s timetables/schedules are built with school, student and caregiver and are unique to each student.

There are a myriad of reasons for students to choose outreach programming. Our school is for students who:

  • Enjoy and excel at learning independently
  • Due to work or sports commitments need the flexibility in their timetable
  • Have difficulty attending school due to mental or physical health issues
  • Have had gaps in attendance through the pandemic and/or for other reasons and are ready to re-engage with school.
  • Have had difficulty socially engaging with peers, or who feel overwhelmed by large numbers in community schools and classrooms.

* Although the expectation is that students attend school in person, there are exceptions depending on student circumstance (medical/illness, student athletes who are training full time, independent students who are working full time during school hours)
