How is Trinity 7-9 eLearning different than other online programs?*
- Students at Trinity eLearning are in timetabled, synchronous classes that are teacher led, similar to an in-person school for math, language arts, science, social and religion.
- Students have opportunities to share and collaborate with their classmates throughout the day.
- Students can ask questions and receive immediate feedback from their teacher during in-class instruction.
- Students are invited to in-person activities regularly to enhance and supplement curriculum.
*Most other learning programs have once or twice daily short meets with a teacher avaialble to help students when needed. The responsibility falls on the child and caregiver to organize and structure their learning.
Who would be the ideal learner for Trinity 7-9 eLearning?
- Students who have difficulty attending school due to anxiety and/or feeling overwelmed in in large settings.
- Families that want the flexibility for children to learn from multiple locations.
- Athletes that require a shortened school day to train.
- Home-schooling families that require the expertise of experienced teachers as curriculum becomes more challenging.
- Trinity is not intended for students who want to learn in isolation or need a specialized program to support their learning or behavioural needs.
What are the expectations/requirements for students attending Trinity eLearning?
- COLLABORATION - Students need to be willing and able to engage and interact with each other in a respectful manner.
- ENGAGEMENT - Students need to attend daily nad be committed adn responsible for their learning.
- TECHNOLOGY - Students must have reliable internet connection and their own robust laptop (with a Chrome browser) or Chromebook that can support the learning activities.
